Escola E.B. 2 e 3 de Briteiros" is part of a larger school grouping called "Agrupamento Vertical de Escolas de Briteiros" situated in the north of Portugal, near the city of Guimarães. Our school Grouping serves geographical places of rural economy very ill-favoured. There aren´t any cultural spaces or cultural events around, in at least, 12km.
With this kind of project we intend to motivate our students in order to break the isolation on which they live and avoid an early school leaving. We want to provide them with a richer social activity, offering them the opportunity to contact with other cultures and have different experiences. We also expect this project to give our students the opportunity to meet and cooperate with new friends from all over the world by sharing their knowledge and cultural heritage.
